Select the device architecture “PIC10\PIC12\PIC16\PIC18 MCUs” and the 8-Bit Architecture
“PIC18” as shown in Figure 13.

Open the serial port configuration window from the Settings -> Serial menu. Select the COM port
to the BMC and configure the serial port settings as shown in Figure 14.
