7.2 Yearly

maintenance

works

Thouroughly clean the tank once a year. For this follow the
instructions below. (Should you have any queries please contact
your supplier or the manufacturer of the unit.)

Risk of causticization!

Do not fill decalcifier or any other chemical into the unit.

For decalcification use water only.

CAUTION

Let the unit cool down (depressurize the unit) and empty the
tank.

Preliminary

1. Lay the unit on left side.

How to proceed

2. Open the drain plug (

) e.g. with a fork wrench

(14 mm).

3. Screw the angle piece of the maintenance tube „J“ (included

in delivery) onto the thread of the drain opening; shut the ball
valve on the other end of the tube.

4. Direct the free end of the tube into a bucket filled half with

water.

5. Put the unit back in upright position.

6. Fill the unit over minimum level.

Filling quantities: Elmasteam 3: 1 litre; Elmasteam 5 / 10: 2
litre
