Q: If I use the device more often will I get better faster?
A: Typical treatment regimens consists of a single 20 minute session, 4‐5 times per week. More use may
provide faster improvement, but overuse may fatigue the pelvic floor muscles and reduce the treatment
benefits. Consult your healthcare provider before adding additional treatment sessions or increasing the
treatment length.
Q: Why is there such a wide range in recommended treatment duration (6‐12 weeks)?
A: How quickly you respond to the treatment, and therefore how long you should continue, depends on factors
including your symptom severity, the treatment intensity (higher is better), your compliance with the
recommended 4‐5 sessions per week, and your physiology.
Q: My skin is red after use. Is this normal?
A: Some redness at the application site is normal due to increased blood flow. The skin should return to normal
appearance after 1‐2 hours. If redness persists consult your healthcare provider.
Q: Does one size fit all?
A: The GelPad is designed to fit a wide range of body types. Positioning the top of the GelPad low on the pubic
bone matters more than positioning the back part in a specific location.
