OPERA
TION
1.
At the front of the sweeper, properly adjust the
round, convex mirrors (Figures O-3 and O-4)
to give an operator in either operating position
a clear view of any and all obstacles and/or
pedestrians in front of the sweeper.
2.
After starting and warming up the engine,
turn on the needed lights by using the Hazard
(33, Figure O-1), Head Lights (35), and option-
al Beacon (34) switches.
3.
Release the parking brake.
4.
As necessary, stop rotation of the brooms and
conveyor by using the Broom Rotate switches
(22, 27, 45) and Conveyor Rotate switch (49).
5.
As necessary, raise the side brooms to trans-
port position by using the Broom Height
switches (26, 46).
6.
If the sweeper has standard main broom sus-
pension, use the MB / Conv Height switch (50)
to raise the main broom and conveyor.
If the sweeper has hydraulic main broom
