R eg is tr a tio n a nd licencing
The Henson software needs to be licenced in order to continue to work after the 30 day
evaluation period.
The licence key supplied is a single use licence and cannot be used for multiple computers.
Once the software is activated it does not have to be repeated unless the software is required to
be moved to another computer in which case the licence needs to be released first.
As with the software installation the licencing must be carried out under an administrator
account.
In order to activate the software the postcode of the site needs to be entered and the computer
ID is obtained to validate the license.
The licensing is carried out here in the Licencing tab of the options.
There are 2 options to register the software.
On lin e - if your computer has an internet connection then you can register it directly
Of f lin e - if your computer does not have an internet connection then registration can be done
using a smart phone that has a data plan.
In both cases a licence number will be required - this is either supplied with your Henson 9000
device (check the rear of the unit for a licence number label) or was purchased as part of an
upgrade. The licence number is in the form of a 25 digit number separated by hyphens.

F or on lin e registration just enter the licence number and the postcode of the practice and
press the Activate button on the online tab (already selected).
The options program will then contact the licencing server online and activate the software.
If an internet connection is not available you will receive notification and can switch over to
offline registration if an internet connection cannot be established.
