8 operating sequence

1. Sort laundry into loads that can be washed together.

See “Washing hints” for more details.

2. Pre-treat stains and heavy soil.

See “Washing hints” for more details.

3. Load the laundry.

Open the door by carefully pulling the door handle

outwards.

Place the laundry in the drum, one item at a time,
shaking them out as much as possible. Close the door

gently. See “Washing hints” for more details.

4. Measure out the detergent, and if required, the

liquid chlorine bleach and fabric softener and pour
it into the proper dispenser drawer compartment.

Pull out the dispenser drawer until it stops.

Measure out the amount of detergent required, pour it
into the main wash compartment “Detergent Wash”.
Detergent is flushed from the dispenser at the beginning

of the cycle.

Either powdered or liquid detergent can be used.

Note: Liquid detergent will drain into the washer drum
as it is added.

If required, pour fabric softener into the compartment

marked , and the bleach agent into the compartment
marked . (the amount used must not exceed the

“MAX” mark in the drawer). Fill to the mininum fill line
(MIN) for small loads. Fill to the maximum fill line (MAX)
for large loads. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.

Close the drawer gently .

5. Select the suitable wash program with the

program selector dial.

It can be turned either clockwise or anticlockwise. The
relevant pilot light goes on.

The estimated cycle duration will be displayed. Suitable
wash and rinse water temperatures, final spin speed,
options and dirt level for each cycle will automatically

be displayed. See “Program Table” for more details on

the compatibility among wash programs and different
temperatures, spin speed, options and dirt levels.

6. If required, change the wash program settings by

pressing the Temperature, Spin Speed, Options or
Dirt Level buttons.

If the desired temperature, spin speed or dirt level is
suitable to the selected program, the relevant pilot

light will light up. By pressing the Options button,

it’s possible to select more than one of the available
options. If the option pilot light starts blinking, it means
that the option is suitable to the program and then you
can press the Select button to confirm your choice. The
pilot light will light up.

NOTE: To provide the best care for your laundry, not every
setting or option is available with every program. If a setting
or option is not available, its pilot light will not light up.

Adjustments to the program will be remembered each time

that a program is selected in the future. To return to the
factory settings, simultaneously press the Start/Pause and
Select buttons until an acoustic signal sounds.

7. Select the delayed start by pressing the Delay

Start button.

Press this button to select the required delay. The selected

delay time will appear on the display for few seconds, then
the duration of the program will appear again.

This option has to be selected after the program is
selected and before pressing the Start/Pause button.

You can cancel or change the delay time at any

moment, before you press the Start/Pause button. If
you have already pressed it, and you wish to cancel or
change the delay time, proceed as follows:

• set the appliance to PAUSE by pressing the Start/Pause

button;

• press the Delay Start button once until on the symbol

or the desired delay is displayed.

• press the Start/Pause button again to start the program.
