Head phone Op er a tion
1.
With the trans mit ters and re ceiv ers setup and op er at -
ing, plug ste reo head phones into the ¼ inch jack on the
front panel.
2.
The Se lected Re ceiver LED will in di cate re ceiver 1 is
be ing mon i tored. Press the Re ceiver Se lect but ton once
to change from Re ceiver 1 to 2.
3.
Press the Re ceiver Se lect but ton once more and both
in di ca tor LEDs will light. You can now lis ten to both re -
ceiv ers.
NOTE:
if both re
ceiv
ers are set to the same
chan nel, the vol ume will dou ble.
4.
Press

Re ceiver 1.
An tenna Con nec tions
1.
In
stall the two ½ wave an
ten
nas to the "an
tenna in"
jacks on the rear panel.
NOTE:
The two ½ wave an ten nas in cluded with the REV
can be re mote mounted. For an ad di tional 5dB gain use the
LPA500 log pe ri odic di rec tional an tenna.
2.
The REV-DUAL is equipped with a left and right an
-
tenna out put jack. These jacks can be used to con nect
up to 3 REV-DUAL (6 re ceiv ers) to two an ten nas with -
out any ad
di
tional equip
ment.

"dummy" loads un less con nect ing to an other re ceiver.

Up to 12 REV-DUAL units can be op er ated with just two
an ten nas with the op tional APD4+ an tenna dis tri bu tion
unit (see Fig ure 4).
