Once the food is cooked, remove the lid carefully. Make sure your face is away from the
escaping steam. Place the basket in the oil draining position and leave for a minute to
drain. Then to further remove oil, put the food on absorbent paper (kitchen towel).
WARNING! Risk of burns! Never touch the baskets while they are hot. Always
use the handles.
• If you are frying another batch of food, wait until the oil is once again at the desired
cooking temperature.
• When you have finished using the unit, turn the thermostat knob to the OFF position, and
unplug it from the mains socket.
• Allow the unit and all accessories to cool down completely before cleaning and storage
( CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE ).
Resetting the unit
The fryer is equipped with an overheating protection system. If the fryer overheats, the
overheating protection system will automatically turn off the fryer when the temperature
reaches 240°C. If this happens, let the fryer cool completely and then using a pointed object,
such as a pen, press the RESET button on the back of the control panel. The unit will start
heating again to the set temperature.
