USING YOUR GREAT BASIN FOOD DEHYDRATOR

-

Unpack your Electro Boss Great Basin Food Dehydrator.

-

Wash your trays and lids with warm water and soap.  Wipe the base of the dehydrator with a dry or
damp cloth.  Never submerse the base in water.

-

Before first use, make sure to read these instructions carefully and in their entirety.

NOTE: You can change the position of the

Duration of drying depends on many variables: temperature, moisture, thickness, humidity and air

temperature, personal preference and the ripeness of the food product.  Drying times are a suggestion

recommended times.

The number one goal of storing dried foods is to prevent moisture exposure.  Store product in airtight

containers, glass jars and freezer bags.  Always make sure the containers are clean and dry.

-

Once packaged, store your dried food containers in a cool, dark place.

-

Check dried foods after one week for moisture in the storage container.  Moisture is a sign that the foods

were not dried long enough or the container is not air tight.
