2.1. Definitions of involved people
Operator – person who is using the nursing bed and who can also install,
assembly, maintain or repair equipment and analise the risk related to it.
Patient – person undergoing a medical procedure or disabled person.
Responsible organization – entity accountable for the use and
maintenance of the PB 636 IV nursing bed, for example, a hospital, and
individual clinician or a layperson.
In home use applications, the patient, operator and responsible
organization can be one and the same person.
