10.0. Transport and storage
All ordered beds are packed on the transport pallet, which can be
relocated by the hand pallet truck or the forklift. Reliable package protects
beds from external damages and ensures that patient or user get a bed in
the perfect condition.
Technical specifications (subclause 1.2.) contain guidance of operating
and storage conditions for ELBUR nursing beds.
Nursing bed shall be protected from destruction under external influences
before re-storage.
Disassembly of nursing bed shall be performed in the opposite directions
to those specified in paragraph 6.0. Assembly .
11.0. Disposal
The nursing bed is made of metal, wooden and plastic components,
electronic parts and electric cables. If the nursing bed must be scrapped, the
plastic and metal parts shall be recycled according to legal regulations.
Electronic components (hand switch, control box, linear actuators etc.)
of nursing beds are considered as electronic scrap and must be disposed
in accordance with WEEE
– Guidelines 2002/96/EG (Electronic Law).
If in doubt, please contact your nearest disposal facility, local community,
distributor or Elbur customer service.
12.0. Warranty
The manufacturer gives a guarantee of 24 months for a perfect
functioning nursing bed.
