Item # Name Description
1 Source Select Buttons Press to select the A/V source or house-
hold system that you wish to control.
2 Function Buttons Allow you to control the source selected.
3 Mute Button Mutes audio in zone.
4 Lights Button Controls one light directly when pressed,
or brings up a Lighting Control Function
Page for controlling many lights.
5 Zone/System Off Button Used to power on or off some or all sys-
tems in your ELAN Network.
6 Message Bar Provides system status feedback.
7 Previous/Next Source
Page
Scrolls back and forth between Source
Pages.
8 Function Page Select
Buttons
Each source can have multiple Function
Pages. For example, If CD is your
Source, selecting the Direct Function
Page button would bring up a 10-key
numeric keypad that would allow direct
access to any track on the CD disc.
9 *System Bar Buttons These handy buttons appear in the same
location regardless of what Source is
selected, giving you room Volume UP/
DOWN, MUTE and two additional com-
mands (i.e. Channel UP/DOWN).
* Only available on Motif Style A & B.
When using Motif Style C, Volume Up/Down and Channel Up/Down is accom-
plished using the Multiple Function button located on the front panel.
