Dispose of the EBL Boj/NödBoj 230/20 at
a recycling station according to government
or local regulations.
In Sweden, the EBL Boj/NödBoj 230/20 is cov-
ered by El-Kretsen collection and recycling rules.
WARRANTY
El-Björn AB’s products and deliveries are
regulated by Standard Agreement NL 09.
Under these provisions, El-Björn AB is
responsible for faults arising within one year
after delivery.
The provisions of NL 09 also apply for
professional parties who register according to
the instructions below, although with the
following modification:
El-Björn AB is liable for faults arising within
three years after delivery (only applicable to
products registered on El-Björn’s website).
To obtain this extended warranty, you must
register within 14 days after purchasing the
products.
In other respects, the provisions of NL 09 apply.
Plastic, electronics and batteries should
be separated and recycled individually.
Nickel metal hydride batteries have low
environmental impact. They are completely
free from the heavy metal additives mercury,
cadmium and lead.

TESTING THE BATTERY
A fully charged battery will provide lighting for
3 x 1 hour or 3 hours depending on the version.
Check the operation of the battery regularly.
The TEST button on the lamp has a green
LED that is lit during charging.
USING THE TEST BUTTON
With lamp connected to 110 V supply
To check the lamp’s emergency lighting function,
press the TEST button once for less than
3 seconds. The lamp will return to normal
operation after about 3 seconds. To test the
battery, press the TEST button for more than
3 seconds (see section on testing the battery).
With lamp disconnected from 230 V supply
Pressing the TEST button once for less than
3 seconds turns battery mode ON/OFF.
For example, when disconnected, the lamp can
be switched off to conserve the battery.
Alternatively, the lamp can be run on the battery
alone, at reduced brightness.
To test the battery, press the TEST button for
more than 3 seconds (see section on testing the
battery).
TESTING THE BATTERY
1. Battery OK: Two flashes lasting 0.5 seconds.
2. Battery should be replaced. Four flashes lasting
0.5 seconds.
