1. The adjustment menu does not appear.

-Thereisnoobjectthatreflectslightsuchasamirroror
glassinfrontofthesensor.
-Themonitorislocatedinaplacethatreceivesdirect
sunlight.
-Thereisnoinfraredlightemittingdevicenearthe
monitor.
-Thereisnoobstacleinfrontofthesensor.
• Thesensorisnotdirty.Ifitisdirty,cleanthesensorwitha
softcloth.
• Checkwhetheryouareinfrontofthemonitor.The
infraredrayisemittedverticallyfromthesensortodetect
aperson.
4. The monitor connected with the USB cable
is not detected. / USB devices connected
to the monitor does not work.
• CheckwhethertheUSBcableisconnectedcorrectly(see
“7-3.MakingUseofUSB(UniversalSerialBus)”(page30)
).
• ChangetheUSBporttoanotherone.IfthePCor
peripheraldevicesworkscorrectlybychangingtheUSB
port,contactyourlocaldealer.(Refertothemanualofthe
PCfordetails.)
• RebootthePC.
• IftheperipheraldevicesworkcorrectlywhenthePCand
peripheraldevicesareconnecteddirectly,pleasecontact
yourlocaldealer.
• CheckwhetherthePCandOSareUSBcompliant.(For
USBcomplianceoftherespectivedevices,consulttheir
manufacturers.)
• CheckthePC’sBIOSsettingforUSBwhenusing
Windows.(RefertothemanualofthePCfordetails.)
5. The sensor stays out.
• Turnthemainpoweroffandonagain.
6. SelfCalibration/Grayscale Check failure
• Refertotheerrorcodetable.
• Ifanerrorcodethatdoesnotappearintheerrorcode
tableisdisplayed,contactyourlocaldealer.
7. Time is not displayed correctly in the
history of SelfCalibration/Grayscale
