Insta lla tion involves four elements: a power supply, a Control Unit, a n a ntenna a nd loudspea kers.
If the room is to run in MO NO connect a ny of the spea kers a nd set the Control Unit to MO NO. (See 4.1. Mono/ Stereo Insta lla tion)
Defa ult spea ker output is set to 16 ohms. Also, 8 ohms spea kers ca n be connected, in this ca se, the Control Unit must be set to 8 ohms. (See 4.2.
Audio O utput Insta lla tion).
If it is necessa ry to connect a n a mplifier or power supply to a Control Unit's sound output, the Control Unit must be set to AMPLIFIER. (See 4.2. Audio
O utput Insta lla tion). Connect the a mplifier to termina ls 2, 4, 05 a nd 06 on the Control Unit.
All wire sections a re 0.25 mm except supply wires (termina ls 2 and 4), which a re 1 mm . The network ta pping wires a re sta nda rd.
To connect the FM/ DAB a ntenna , connect a 76 cm wire to termina l A or connect a 75 ohms a ntenna input to termina ls A (signa l) a nd M (ma ss).
Improving the FM&DAB reception: extend the a eria l a ntenna wire a nd a djust the a ngle for best reception. Be sure to loca te it a s fa r a s possible from
a ny sources of electrica l noise such us ha logen la mps, HVAC, fluorescent bulbs, etc.
It is a dvisa ble tha t the direct current tha t provides power
to the power supply (ref.11298) be connected to a
specific Automa tic Switch in order to isola te a nd a llow
you to disconnect the Audio System independently from
the rest of the electrica l a pplia nces in the home.
