Only ever use screw gun bits
which are suitable for the pur-
pose and in faultless condition.
앬
Before you begin to screw in
walls and masonry, check for
concealed electric wiring, gas
pipes and water pipes.
앬
The screw gun is equipped with
a claw coupling. The spindle
does not start to rotate until the
screw is pushed into the work-
piece.
4. Starting up
4.1 ON/OFF switch (4)
To switch on:
Press the switch (4)
Continuous operation:
Secure the
switch (4) with the locking button
(5)
To switch off:
Press in the switch
(4) briefly
You can select the speed by pres-
sing the switch (4) to a greater or
lesser extent.
You can pre-select the speed by
turning the knurled screw in the
switch (4).
4.2 Forward/reverse switch (6)
Using the slide switch above the
ON/OFF switch you can select the
direction of rotation of the screw
gun and lock the screw gun so that
it cannot be switched on accidental-
ly.
4.3 Screwing depth stop (1)
Using the depth setting ring with
latching settings you can pre-select
(2) the depth to which the screw is
screwed into the workpiece. The
symbols on the setting ring (2) indi-
cate how the screwing depth is set.
Clockwise:
bigger
screwing depth
Counterclockwise: smaller
screwing depth
The best way to determine the re-
quired setting is with a test screw.
The screw is held in place by the
magnetic chuck.
