1. Description
The party heater is used outdoors to heat nearby
areas. A burner inside the perforated plate body
produces the necessary heat, which is radiated to
the immediate surroundings by an aluminium
reflector as well as by the perforated plate itself.
The party heater has to be set up on a level,
incombustible surface with no - or only a very slight -
gradient.
To make it easier to change the gas bottle, the body
can be raised and locked in place on the appliance
itself.
The party heater is designed to work only with
propane-butane (liquefied gas). It is connected
directly to the gas bottle by means of a DVGW-tested
and approved hose pipe and a liquefied gas
regulator (outlet pressure 28-30/37 mbar, capacity
1,5 kg/h). The following regulations have to
be observed and adhered to when making the
connection:
Technical regulations concerning liquefied gas
(e.g. TRF)
Guidelines published by liability insurance
associations concerning the use of liquefied gas
in special applications
To start the heater, open the gas bottle, „turn“ the
knob to high setting, „press“ the knob (for approx. 10
sec.) and „actuate“ the piezo igniter.
The regulator knob has the settings „zero“, „high“
and „low“. Infinitely variable intermediate settings are
possible. A thermoelectric ignition cut-out prevents
gas escaping if there is no flame.
The foot, body, connecting piece and top are made
of powder-coated steel for outdoor duty.
The perforated body plate and burner are made of
stainless steel.
The reflector shade is made of aluminium.

3. Assembly
Carry out the assembly work on a clean surface
where the parts will not be scratched.
The assembly steps are illustrated on page 6.
First screw the three stems (Item 2) loosely to
the base (Item 1). For each stem you need 2 hex
screws size M6x12 with matching nut and
washer
Then fit the wheels with roller fixture (Item 3, 2
pieces) to the base (Item 1) as shown, using the
raised cheesehead screws size M5x12 with
matching nut and washer.
Now mount the connecting piece (Item 4) on the
stems (Item 2) and fasten it in place using 6
raised cheesehead screws size M6x16. Then
tighten the stems, which until now were only
loosely connected to the base.
Place the case (Item 5) over Items 1-4.
Mount the burner group (Item 6), inserting the
hose pipe in the connecting piece (Item 4) as you
do so. Important! Be careful not to kink the hose
pipe or damage the setting mechanism.
Now fasten the burner group with the hex screw
size M6x12 and washer Ø 12.5.
Finally, put on the reflector (Item 7) and screw it
in place with 3 cap nuts size M8 and washers
Ø17.
Insert the gas bottle. Connect the hose pipe to
the pressure regulator and the pressure regulator
to the gas bottle – N.B.: 2 left-hand threads. Use
leakage spray or a foaming agent to test the
joints for leaks.
Never test with a naked flame!
4. Safety instructions
Set up the party heater on a level surface with
either no or only a very slight gradient (max.
5°).
Caution: The heater may be used only under
supervision.
Do not touch the reflector or perforated plate
when in use - Risk of burns!
Keep a safe distance between the heater and
combustible objects during use.
Do not fasten any objects to the party heater.
Use the heater only outdoors.
Use the heater only for heating purposes.
In strong winds it is advisable to secure the foot
with extra weight or to fasten it to the ground or
to stand it in a safe place.
If you are not going to use the party heater for
some time, cover the perforated plate and top
with foil in order to prevent dust and insects
