Always turn off the party heater before you move
it.
Check that the seal on the bottle valve is present
and in good condition. Do not use additional
seals.
At the first sign of any trouble, close the shut-off
valve on the gas bottle at once.
The party heater may be operated only in
conjunction with a pressure regulator set to the
permissible outlet pressure (see the heater
nameplate and factory setting).
Notes on commercial use:
Various regulations and
standards (e.g. BGV D34 (VBG 21), DIN 4811-3 and
TRF 96) require the installation of a safety pressure
regulator with integrated excess pressure cut-out if
the party radiator is used commercially (e.g. on
fairgrounds). Your party radiator is not supplied with
such a safety pressure regulator.
Before you put the radiator into operation
it is
imperative to use a leak detection spray or a foaming
agent to
test for leaks
at all the connections. Never
use a naked flame.
It is prohibited to test for leaks when the party
radiator is in use.
5. Connecting to the gas bottle
(5 or 11 kg)
To connect the heater to a gas bottle you need the
following parts:
A standard gas bottle.
A non-adjustable, DVGW-approved pressure
regulator for a maximum capacity of 1.5 kg/h to
match the gas bottle used. Operating pressure
as per the factory setting.
A DVGW-approved hose pipe of sufficient length
that can be installed without any kinks.
(part of the equipment)
A DVGW-approved leak detection spray or a
foaming agent.
6. Operating the heater
6.1 Putting into operation
Before starting the heater, use a leak detection spray
or a foaming agent to test for leaks at all the
connections. Never use a naked flame.
Do not carry
out this test when the heater is already in
operation.
Ignition
Open the gas bottle valve.
Turn the heater button 90° anti-clockwise from
„closed“ position. Then press the button and ignite
the burner by actuating the piezo igniter.
Keep the button pressed for approx. 10 seconds
after ignition until the burner remains on.
If the flame goes out you must wait at least two
minutes before making a second attempt at ignition.
You can turn the button from the symbol of the small
flame (low setting) to the symbol of the large flame
(high setting) according to your requirements.
Infinitely adjustable setting of the heat output is also
possible between these two settings.
Taking out of operation
To turn off the heater, move the button to „closed“
position and close the gas bottle valve.
7. Cleaning / Maintenance / Repair
7.1 Cleaning / Maintenance
The party heater can be cleaned with all standard,
non-abrasive and incombustible liquids.
Be sure to turn off the heater and allow it to cool
before commencing with the cleaning.
Caution!
Never clean the heater with pressurized
water (using a water hose, steam jet or high
pressure)!
7.2 Repair
Have only approved gas fitters carry out repairs and
maintenance work on the party heater.
