3.8 Setting the Local Time
You have to set the local time when changing the time zone
or when operating the digital tachograph for the first time.
The local time refers to the coordinated universal time
(UTC). The time zone specifies the difference between
local time and coordinated universal time. The difference
can be entered in 30-minute increments. During the sum-
mer months the local time is put forward one hour;
see "Daylight Saving Time" on page 71.
Note
It is not possible to change the digital tachograph settings when
driving. Park your vehicle to change the settings.

Acknowledge any displayed messages or warnings before setting
the local time.
