Installation and Service Guide: Color Controller E-36A

Installing System Software

Select the patches.

When you select a patch, any required previous patches are also automatically selected.

Click

Update > Continue

to reboot the E-36A and install patches.

Note:

E-36A may reboot multiple times to complete the patches installation.

System Update Log

To read a list of applied system updates, you must print a system configuration page (see

“To print the E-36A pages

from Fiery QuickTouch”

on page

31). The applied system updates are listed in the Configuration page sections: Fiery

Updates, Application Updates, and OS Updates. If there have been no patches added to the system software, the

System Updates sections will not be listed in the Configuration page nor will the System Updates be listed in the Fiery

Ticker.
