How to Use the AC Power Adapter
To power on the AP using its AC power adapter, perform the following steps:
Caution:
Use ONLY the AC power adapter supplied with this AP, otherwise the
product may be damaged.
Note:
If the AP is connected to both a PoE source device and an AC power source,
the AC power connection will be disabled.
1.
Connect the AC power adapter to the AP and then to an AC power outlet.
2.
Verify that the Power indicator turns on, and that the other indicators start
functioning as described under
“Understanding the System Status LEDs” on
page 34
.
If the Power LED does not turn on green, the self test has not completed
correctly. Refer to
“Troubleshooting” on page 39
.
