This unit is not intended for use by people (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental disability or people lacking
experience or knowledge, unless they have been supervised or given
prior instructions concerning use of the device by a person responsible
for their safety. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance. This unit can be used by children who are
at least 8 years old and by people with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capacities or people lacking experience or knowledge if they are
correctly supervised or if they have been given and have understood
instructions concerning safe use of the unit. Children must not play
with the unit. The unit must not be cleaned or serviced by children
without supervision.
PRIOR WARNING!
Heavy product to be handled with care:
1.
Install the unit in a room protected from frost. Destruction of the
unit by overpressure due to the blockage of the safety valve is not
covered by the warranty.
2.
Check that the wall can bear the weight of the unit when filled
with water.
3.
If the unit is to be installed in a room or location where the ambient
temperature is constantly greater than 35°C, ensure that the room
is correctly ventilated.
4.
In a bathroom, do not install this product in area V1 (see fig 1.1 p.3).
Install a retention tray with sewer outlet if the water heater is installed
in a suspended ceiling, in a loft or above habitable areas. Place the
unit in an accessible location.
5.
If PER pipes are used, installation of a thermostatic regulator at the
supply tank outlet is strongly advised. It will be adjusted according
to the performances of the material used.
6.
Installing a vertical wall-mounted water heater: to facilitate
replacement of the heating element, leave a space measuring
300 mm below the ends of the water heater pipes.
7.
Before removing the cover, check that the power supply is switched
off to avoid any risk of injury or electrocution.
