the other. If the current signal does not obey Ohm’s law, then it is likely
that the electrode leads have become damaged.
However, if both the Dummy Cell and Real Cell tests produce the
expected results, but you are still experiencing difficulties with your
experiments, then check the electrodes (reference electrodes, in
particular, tend to become clogged or dry out with age), and the
design and condition of the reaction vessel, and any salt bridges that
you are using.
