Wiring Specifications
Any wiring and installation must comply with national and local
regulations . See the following table for wiring specifications .
Please note that these values are only for reference . If long
distances have to be covered between the PV array and the
controller or between the controller and the battery, larger
wires can be used to reduce the voltage drops and improve
performance .

Connection
It is highly recommended to connect a fuse directly to the
battery to prevent any short circuits in the battery wiring .
Solar modules create a current whenever light strikes them .
This current varies with the light intensity, but even in low
light levels, the full voltage is produced by the modules . For
this reason, cover the solar modules against any incident light
during installation . Never touch uninsulated cable ends, use
only insulated tools and make sure that the wire diameters are
suitable for with anticipated currents . Connections must always
be made in the sequence described below:
