5.2.2. Input range (LEFT and RIGHT Channel)
Depending on signal level at the XLR input, the JP3, JP4 and JP9 jumpers must be positioned together for
one of the two following conditions:
Final settings are done using the two potentiometers (AF LEVEL, LEFT and RIGHT) located on the Helios
front panel.
0: for a 0 dB input level range (+/- 6dB).
12: for a 12 dB input level range (+/- 6 dB).

5.2.3. MONO Function with an analog stereo coder
The stereo coder can operate in MONO mode.
WARNING: this operation will cause the coder to lose the settings. You will need the
appropriate measurement tools to fine-tune the coder to operate in stereo.
To use it in mono mode, just remove the 19 kHz sub carrier by turning RV1 counter clockwise to a stop (it
is located on the coder card, behind the 19 Hz output BNC connector).
The audio input is simultaneous through left and right XLR inputs.
