IMPORTANT
Do not forget to clamp the tools in securely!
CAUTION
— Installation of tools while the ram is not at a standstill
—> Crushed upper extremities (e.g. fi ngers, hands, arms)
• Tools may be installed or changed only when the ram is stationary
6.3 Mounting / Dismantling of the forming tools
Standard forming tools are inserted in both of the tool holding fi xtures of the Kra ft former.
1. Positioning of the locking rings (A).
Important: Th e opening of the locking ring must be positioned forward-facing
2. Insert the tool completely into the tool mounting from the front.
3. Tighten the tool lock in the direction of the arrow.
4. Turn the locking ring 180° to fi x the tool positive locking.
Important: Th e opening of the locking ring must be positioned pointing backwards.

Quick change tool holders allow a tool change practically without any down time.
5. To remove/change tools:
- Turn the locking ring by 180° so that the opening is facing forward.
- Release the tool lock in the opposite direction to the arrow and pull out the tool
