7. Operation
7.5 Adjustable ram position
Th e ram position can be adjusted in height by 20 mm:
- to compensate di ff erent tool heights
- to preselect the most suitable position for a short ram stroke
Th is adjustment does not change the stroke length. Fine adjustment in steps of 0.1 mm is shown on the display.
7.6 Adjustment of ram
Th e handwheel has to be turned anti-clockwise to lower the ram position (1). Th e handwheel has to be turned clock-
wise to li ft the ram position (2).

IMPORTANT
• Turn the handwheel carefully when the upper and lower position of the ram adjustment is reached!
• To prevent clamping do not turn the ram position into the negative range (<0.000).
