4-7 Replacing fuel line and fuel return line
{Removing}
1. Remove dust cover (Refer to 4-4 Inspecting
fuel tank and line ).
2. Disconnect fuel line (A) from black joint (B) and
(C). Inspect fuel line (A) and replace with new one
if defective.
3. Disconnect fuel return line (D) from grommet (E)
and white joint (F). Inspect fuel line (D) and replace
with new one if defective.
4. To replace fuel line (in fuel tank) (G), remove
fuel cap and remove fuel strainer (H) and clip (J)
from fuel line (G).
5. Remove grommet (K) from the unit together with
fuel line (G), black joint (B) and tank vent (L).
6. Remove fuel line (G), black joint (B) and tank
vent (L) from grommet (K).
7. Inspect fuel line (G), joint (B) and grommet (K).
Replace with new one if defective.
8. Remove fuel line (M) from rear handle and fuel
return line (N) from purge bulb (P).
9. Inspect fuel line (M) and fuel return line (N). Re-
place with new one if defective.
{Installing}
10. Install fuel line (M) to rear handle.
11. Install fuel return line (N) to purge bulb (P).
