Parallel integration without Flow Control for multiple systems (Installation 2)

Installation with more than one Power Unit

Installation 2 consists of multiple XRGI systems, a DHW storage and an additional heat source. Operation of the installation
assumes that the building's heating circuit is regulated, i.e. that hot water is not led back to the XRGI system.

In installation 2, one of the XRGI systems (the master system) is equipped with a Boiler Control (not included). The thermal
reserve in the storage determines whether the back-up boiler will be released and whether the three-way valve directs the flow
to the boiler. If this is the case, heat from the XRGI system will be stored. The XRGI systems are connected to the storage tank.
The circulation pumps of the Heat Distributor pass the heat produced to the storage tank and the flow pumps of the building
provide for the flow via the storage tank.

This integration is recommended for the following cases, among others:

if multiple XRGI systems are used (cascades)

if the storage tank capacity is to be used for the boiler as well

if the amount of heat taken from the network varies immensely.
