2. Program it from scratch. You just need to know how to use the Arduino IDE or the visual
programming software by blocks compatible platforms, how the cables are connected, and
write the code that maps the joysticks movements to the Arm Robot movements.
The Sensor-Shield has available many connectors that allows you to expand the Arm Robot
functions. For example: provide Bluetooth to it, add more Servomotors, control it with
potentiometers or anything you can imagine.
MOUNT INSTRUCTIONS
Before starting:
1.- The Pre-cut methacrylate plates include the Arm Robot pieces. In pages 8 and 9 you will see
in color gray the useful pieces and in color white the scraps to be discarded.
2.- The methacrylate pieces are coated with a brown protective film which you must remove
carefully, before starting to mount.
3.- Use the appropriate tools to remove the scraps. For example, the holes for the screws.
4.- Use a cutter or scissors to remove the remaining plastic attached to the pieces.
5.- Each Servomotor comes with 3 white plastic pieces, 1 small screw and 2 large screws. The
small screw is to be used in the junction of the white plastic pieces with the Servomotor;
and the large screws are to be used in the junction of the white pieces with the Arm Robot
black pieces.

VERY IMPORTANT: Avoid that the screws go through
the junctions. Most of the times the screw tip should not
protrude the other side of the piece where it is inserted.
7.- There are pieces designed to make movements. IN THIS
KIND OF JUNCTIONS MAKE SURE THAT THEY ARE NOT COMPLETELY TIGHTEN so they
can move correctly (indicated in Steps 8, 9 and 10).
8.- Have in mind that you will not use all the screws and nuts included. The remaining pieces can
be used as spare parts.
