Condensate drainage is required to drain away moisture collected inside the heat exchanger.
A waterless trap/ HepVo valve must be fitted between the unit and the subsequent waste system.
A traditional U bend is not advised as these can dry up in warm.
The 22mm brass compression fitting is located on the bottom of the unit.
Waste pipes must have a 3 degree minimum angle to allow water to drain away.
In locations where freezing weather is likely, outlet pipes must be insulated to avoid ice build up and
blockages which could result in damage.
