Step 2: Remove the separation block from the right side of the
front cover using a plier to form a U-shaped slot. Note that the sep-
aration edges must not have burrs.
Step 3: Mount the drive arm (E) to the right end of the main shaft
using the drive arm extension rod as shown. Connect the M6 *
28mm flat-head screw to the drive arm. Torque to 7.3-9.6N.M.
Note:
(1) If the main shaft end is not machined well, please contact Eaton
for assistance;
(2) If the M6 square nut cannot be placed in the fitting slot,
unscrew the screw on the top of the bracket and loosen the two
screws at the bottom. Keep the tripper bar in the position as
shown, and slide the bracket top parts from the circuit breaker.
Then, insert a square nut (F) in the slot. The plane of the nut
should be placed outward. Finally re-tighten the three screws.
Step 4: Re-install the front cover removed in Step 1
Step 5: Tighten the interlock assembly (G) onto the right-side panel
of the drawout type frame using three M6*12 hexagon screws (A)
and three self-locking washers (C). Torque to 4.5-5.6Nm.

Step 6: Install the cable bracket to the lower position of the inter-
lock assembly on the right-side panel of the drawout frame using 2
m6*10mm tapping screws (K). Torque to 7.3-9.6Nm.
Step 7: In this step, check the functionality of the control rod
assembly in two methods as shown:
Check 1: Install the circuit breaker into the Connect position of the
frame. Observe the interface between the circuit breaker drive
arm (installed in Step 3) end and control rod assembly driven arm
to make sure the clearance is acceptable. Install the driven arm to
the drive arm using a small shaft, and the circuit breaker tripper bar
should be connected to the internal tripper rod.
Check 2: Observe the lower drive rod position of each circuit
breaker when circuit breakers are in Open and CLOSED states.
The clearance between the drive rod lower right corner and sup-
port bracket edge is 0-2mm (refer to the circuit breaker in OPEN
