Step 13: If necessary, replace the existing tripper bar.
Remove the existing E-shaped card from the mechanism
shaft, and slide the old version tripper bar from the mecha-
nism shaft. Install the new tripper bar (M) on the mechanism
and fasten it using the M3.2 lock spring (H). Install the cable
on the tripper bar and fix it using tripper bar screw (N).
Step 13a: Turn the key to operate the tripper bar. When the
key is turned clockwise to the upright position, the tripper
bar is pushed down and the circuit breaker is locked.
Step 14: If the circuit breaker is equipped with an operation
counter, install it onto the lock panel using two M3.5x8
tapping screws. Refer to the Operation Counter installation
instructions.
Step 15: Re-install the front cover.

WARNING
(1) Only qualified electrical personnel should be permit-
ted to work on the equipment.
(2) Always de-energize primary and secondary circuits
if a circuit breaker cannot be removed to a safe work
location.
(3) Drawout circuit breakers should be levered (racked)
out to the DISCONNECT position.
(4) All circuit breakers should be switched to the OFF
position and mechanism springs discharged.
Failure to follow these steps for all procedures described
in this instruction leaflet could result in death, bodily
injury, or property damage.
Section 1: General information
The key interlock provides the following safety features:
1. With NO key, the circuit breaker is OPEN and cannot
close.
2. With the key ON, the breaker is fully operational.
3. With the circuit breaker “ON”, the key cannot be
removed. The key cannot switch the breaker to “OFF”
state.

To remove the key, press the breaker “OFF” button,
and rotate the key by 90 degrees counterclockwise.

• M 10 socket and 1/4-inch socket wrench
• 1-7/16-inch (36mm) hole saw/drill
• #1 Phillips screwdriver
• Slotted screwdriver
• Needle plier
