Parallel System Setup
Choose one of the following:
•
Singlee:
Select this option if the unit is operating alone
without parallel units connected
•
Networke:
Select this option if all parallel units have
networking capability and a CAT5 cable connected to
each unit for parallel communications
•
Legacye:
Select this option if the unit is being added
to a legacy system that does not have parallel
communications capability
External transformer
1.
For external transformer setup, choose either Yes or No
based on the following:
– Press Yes if there is a transformer added to the output
of the active filter for connection to a voltage level
that is different from the nominal voltage rating of
the unit.
– Press No if the output voltage rating of the unit
matches the voltage rating of the loads being
corrected.
2.
If you chose No in the preceding step, skip this step. If
you chose Yes, make the following settings:
–
Ratio Gride:
Enter the Grid side voltage of the
transformer.
–
Unite:
Enter the transformer voltage rating at the active
filter side.
–
Phase Gride:
This value is set to 0 degrees. It is not an
adjustable parameter.
–
Unite:
Touching this field opens the External
Transformer screen. Select the appropriate phase shift
of the transformer based on the transformer design.
3.
Change the settings on the External Transformer screen
if there is a external transformer between the Harmonic
Correction Unit and the voltage bus being corrected.
Notee:
This parameter does not apply to the integrated
transformer units that are rated at 600 V or 690 V on the
nameplate.
