Service and Maintenance

CAUTION:

Do not operate the transmission at an operating angle greater than

12° (approximately a 21% grade) or improper lubrication will occur causing
damage to the transmission. The operating angle is the transmission mounting
angle in the chassis plus the percent of upgrade (expressed in degrees).

Transmission Lubrication Change Intervals

Lubricant changes should be based on the intervals shown in TCMT0021

. Extending drain intervals beyond

those indicated are not recommended and will affect the transmission perfor-
mance and the warranty coverage.
