Quick Start Guide

EGR-5000 Quick Start Guide

Effective November 2011

Double click on “CT pri” (CT Primary) in the
“System Para/General Settings” dialog box
and the screen shown to the left will appear.

The up and down arrows in this screen
allows the User to change the “CT pri” rating
(Amps). The available range is from 1 to
50,000 A. Once the desired “CT pri” has
been set, click on the “OK” button. An
asterisk will appear next to the modified
parameter.

To save the all the modified System
Parameters, click on “File”, “Save”, then
“OK”. Once the file has been saved, the
asterisks will disappear from in front of the
modified parameter(s).

This procedure can be used to save any
changed parameters during the entire
PowerPort-E device set-up process.

5.2

Setting the Basic Protection Parameters

Set up the basic Protection Parameters by
double clicking on “Protection Para”
(Protection Parameters) under the main
device menu.
