Note that to load parameters from the
device, the User may need to set up the
connection to the device through the
“Settings -> Connection Settings” pull-down
menu.
The upper left portion of the PowerPort-E
screen should now display:
•
Operation;
•
System Para;
•
Protection Para;
•
Device Para;
•
System Alarms;
•
Control;
•
Logics;
•
Device Planning; and
•
Service.
Whether you have created a new parameter
file or are receiving data from a device, the
parameter file must be saved. To create a
new file, click on “File” then “Save As”.
Assign a name to the new file then click
“OK”.
If you have opened an existing parameter
file and have modified a parameter(s), click
on “File” then “Save” to overwrite the
existing file.
This procedure can be used to save any
changed parameters during the entire
PowerPort-E device set-up process.
