CAUTION: The cables employed must be appropriate for the installation of a given type. The fitter is
responsible for assessing this matter.
• The 3x1.5mm

power supply cable must be suitable for outdoor use.
• All the cable must remain exposed to the least degree possible, on a length of not more than 6 mm, as
close to the connection terminals as possible, in order to prevent accidental contact with live parts in the
even of the cable becoming disconnected from the terminal.
• The cables to be screwed to the terminals should not be tinned initially.
• It is necessary to provide a device fixing the power supply cable. Install the power supply cable in such a
manner that in the event of the cable slipping out of its fixing device the phase conductor and the neutral
conductor are running under the ground conductor.
2.6 Introducing electrical wiring into the automation
a) In order to supply power to the control unit, remove the automation cover (2) by removing the two
clamping bolts on the sides (1).
b) Place cable glands (4) in the place of (3) and then insert the cables (5) required for connection
purposes (the 230V cables should be separated from very low voltage cables). The cables should be
left with extra length of about 40 cm.
3. CONNECTION OF THE CONTROL UNIT
The fitter should connect the 230 Vac 50 Hz power supply and other devices provided for the purposes of
automation.
The connections between the control unit, motor, encoder and autotransformer have already been made by
the manufacturer.
CAUTION: For safety purposes it is crucial to connect the motor grounding.
It is necessary to bend the yellow-green power supply cable and slide it into the eyelet on the upper shield,
at the spot marked with the grounding symbol presented.
