Setting up a timer
Timers can only be set on the remote control

1. Make sure the current day (of the week) and time are set (see chapter “Setting the
current day and time”).
2. Press the week/time button

to select between ON and OFF timer. The selection is
indicated by the timer on/off icon

Select the ON timer to turn on the product at the desired time of the week.
Select the OFF timer to turn off the product at the desired time of the week.

to select the day (of the week) the timer will activate.
The selected day is indicated by the day icon

5. Press the hour button

The hour time flashes in the time display area

6. Press the + or – button to set the hour time of the timer.
7. Press the minute button

The minute time flashes in the time display area.
8. Press the + or – button to set the minute time of the timer.
9. Wait a few seconds (without pressing any buttons) until the time display area
shows the current day and time again.
The timer is now set and will activate at the desired time of the week.
Overheat protection
− This product is equipped with an overheat safety feature. When the product’s
internal components reach a certain temperature that could cause overheat and
possible fire, the product will automatically turn off.
− To operate the product again, unplug the product from the mains socket. Then
allow the product to cool down to room temperature (around 30 minutes) before
using the product again.
