TABLETOP PATIO HEATER 

OWNER’S MANUAL

• Perodically check the whole gas system for leaks.

• Immediately check for leaks if an odor of gas is detected.

• 

Extinguish all open flames during testing or when an odor of gas is detected.

• Never smoke while performing the leak test.

• If you cannot stop a leak, unscrew and remove the cylinder from the heater.

• Check the heater with a full propane cylinder. DO NOT use the heater until you have 

performed a leak test on all the connections and verified that your unit does not leak.

• Use only manufacturer recommended replacement parts. Substitution may void the 

warranty.

This appliance shall be used only in a well-ventilated space and shall not be used in 

a building, garage or any other enclosed area.

An appliance may be installed with shelter no more inclusive than:

a. With walls on all sides, but with no overhead cover.

b. Within a partial enclosure which includes an overhead cover and no more than 

two side walls. These side walls may be parallel, as in a breezeway, or at right 

angles to each other.

c. Within a partial enclosure which includes an overhead cover and three side 

walls, as long as 30 percent or more of the horizontal periphery of the enclosure is 

permanently open.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

Turning the Heater and Pilot Light OFF

1. Turn control knob to “   ON”.

2. Press down lightly and turn to “OFF”. 

3. Wait 5 minutes before relighting.

NOTE: 

Improper operation, can cause injury or property damage. If pilot fails to 

remain lit, all valves should be closed and a waiting period of at least 5 minutes 

should pass before attempting to light.

Turning ON the Heater

1. Turn on the valve on the gas supply cylinder completely.

2. Press and turn on the variable control knob to “   ON” position.

3. Press down the variable control knob and hold for 90 seconds. While holding 

down the variable control knob , keep the control knob depressed until the pilot 

flame comes on. After lighting the pilot, wait 15 seconds to heat the thermocouple, 

before releasing the control knob. Release the variable control knob after the pilot 

flame lights.

4. If the pilot does not light, repeat steps 2 to 3.

NOTE: 

If a new tank has just been connected, please allow at least one minute 

for the air in the gas pipeline to purge out through the pilot hole.

NOTE: 

The burner may be noisy when initially turned on.

Turn the knob to the level of heat desired.

CAUTION: Avoid inhaling fumes emitted from the heater’s first use. Smoke and 

odor from the burning of oils used in manufacturing will appear. Both smoke and 

odor will dissipate after approximately 30 minutes. The heater should NOT produce 

thick black smoke.

5. After the flame comes on, leave the variable control knob on “   ON” for about 

5 minutes, and then switch to the desired temperature.
