This recommendation is subjected to the clinical judgment and is not
applicable to every patient.
It is the dentist responsibility to follow the ALARA principle (as low as
reasonably possible) to minimize the exposure of the patient.

Clinical situations in which the radiograph is indicated includes, but it's
not limited to:
A. History of positive discoveries
1. Previous periodontal or endodontic treatment
2. History of pain or trauma
3. Family history of dental abnormalities
4. Post-surgery evaluation for healing
5. Remineralization monitoring
6. Implant presence, pathology related to previous implants or evaluation for
implant placement
B. Clinical positive - Signs and Symptoms
