7. Disassembly

Your Pursuit scooter is designed to be disassembled/folded easily in order to be transported.

When disassembling your Scooter, please be sure to follow these simple instructions.

1.

Remove the Seat

2.

Place your Scooter on a level surface.

Remove

 

the

 

key

 

from

 

the

 

key

 

switch

 

before

 

you

 

begin

 

to

 

disassemble/fold

 

your

 

Pursuit

.

Never

 

pull

 

on

 

the

 

arms

 

or

 

use

 

them

 

as

 

a

 

handle

 

to

 

move

 

the

 

Scooter

 

as

 

they

 

could

 

inadvertently

 

fold,

 

causing

 

injury.

3.

(Optional) Fold the seatback down and pull each arm assembly outward and fold them down.

See figure 12.

4.

Lift the (yellow handle) seat release lever under the front of the seat. See figure 12.

5.

While holding the lever up, grip the seat opposite the lever and with a firm grip; pull the seat

straight up. See figure 12.

6.

(Optional) Required for air travel.

7.

Push the battery release button. See figure 13.

8.

Lift the battery pack of the Scooter. See figure 13.
