SIGNALING SYSTEM

4. Wiring

Check the entire signaling system’s wiring.

7. The bizzer fails to sound.

2. Voltage

• Connect the pocket tester (DC 20 V) to the

bizzer connector at the bizzer terminal as
shown.

Positive tester probe

blue/black

Negative tester probe

ground

• Set the main switch to “ON”.

• Measure the voltage (DC 12 V) of blue/brown

at the bizzer terminal.

• Is the voltage within specification?

L/B

The wiring circuit from
the main switch to the
bizzer connector is faulty
and must be repaired.

YES

Reverse switch

•

Check the

reverse switch for continuity.

Refer to

“

CHECKING THE SWITCHES

”.

•

Is the

reverse switch OK?

Replace the

reverse switch.

• Set the shift rod to “R”.
