INSTALLING THE BELT DRIVE

1. Install:

Do not allow grease to contact the V-belt,
secondary sheave assembly.

Install the V-belt onto the face comp, driven.

2. Install:

While holding the clutch carrier with the rotor
holding tool

, tighten the clutch carrier nut with

the locknut wrench

4. Position:

Tighten the secondary sheave nut with the
sheave holder

•

V-belt

•

clutch nut hex

•

outer clutch

nut

V-belt

plate sub assy drive

Position the V-belt in the face movable drive
(when the pulley is at its widest position) and in
the face movable drive

(when the pulley is at

its narrowest position), and make sure the V-
belt is tight.
