Setting whether the input is active at high or low voltage level. The logic uses the active input state for further processing and
not the voltage level.

• Validation
Requires an input signal to be consistent for the defined period of time before it is acknowledged as input. The validation causes
a small delay, but avoids unwanted switching operations due to short peaks (see figure 20).
• Debounce
When a change of state is detected, the input signal is immediately stabilised or debounced for the set period of time (see figure 20).
