Figure 13
Check that the pitch function control lever (see figure 1, item 11) and the trimming slider for the pitch function (see
figure 1, item 12) are in their respective lowest position at the transmitter. When the setting is made correctly, the status
LED will flash green 2 times and then be permanently lit.
If the status LED at the controller component flashes red and green alternatively, the controller component is not
receiving a valid receiver signal. Either the transmitter is switched off (in this case, the status LED at the receiver would
also not be lit), ort he connections between receiver and controller components are interrupted or not connected
properly.
f) Binding function
Transmitter and receiver are already aligned with each other and can be used at once.
Binding only needs to be performed again after replacing the transmitter or receiver or to remove errors.
Since other manufacturers use different encoding and decoding methods, transmitter and receiver cannot be combined
and operated with products of other manufacturers.
Normal function
Switch on the transmitter.
The LED display at the transmitter (see fig. 1, item 9) flashes quickly for approx. 3 seconds. This means that the
transmitter submits encoding signals. Then the transmitter display flashes twice and then is lit permanently.
Connect the flight battery and observe the status LED at the receiver component (see figure 11, item 3). It flashes once
and then is lit permanently.
When both lamps are lit permanently, binding has been performed and the control signals transmitted are received.
The remote control is now ready for use.
Errors
If the status display at the receiver only flashes once and then goes out when the transmitter and model are switched
on, binding has failed. The connection between transmitter and receiver must be disconnected and re-established.
Disconnecting the binding:
Switch off the transmitter.
Switch on the model.
Press the binding button (2) for about 1 to 2 seconds with a
pointed object at the receiver component (1). The status
LED (3) at the receiver flashes. This means that the
connection has been completely severed.
For better illustration, figure 13 shows the
mechanics removed from the fuselage.
