Be especially careful when mixing hot cakes or liquids, as the hot ingredients could scald
if they spatter. Never use the appliance to mix food ingredients on the hob. Never fill the
supplied appliance accessory bowl with ingredients hotter than 40 °C.
•
The use of the appliance must be avoided in areas where the temperature is too high or too
low or where the appliance is subject to vibrations. Avoid using the appliance under wet or
vaporous conditions. The appliance can be used within the temperature range of +10°C to
+35°C and stored within the range of +5°C to +40°C.
•
During use check the position of the hand mixer’s electric cord; keep it away from the
appliance’s rotating components, and prevent it from dropping into the mixing bowl during
operation.
To prevent accident hazard and damage to the blender, keep your hands,
clothing and other kitchen appliances away from its moving parts. Do not
wear loose clothing, chains, bracelets or other jewellery during work. Wear a
scarf or cap to retain your hair while using the appliance.

Only insert matching attachments into the hand mixer chucks. Do not operate with
attachments from other devices. Always wash the dough and beater attachments after use.
Remove attachments from the main unit before cleaning.

Do not switch on the appliance unless the mixer attachments are immersed into the ingre-
dients to be blended within the bowl. Do not allow the attachments to spin in the air.
If your appliance is damaged or operates in an abnormal way, immediately
stop using it and take it to an authorised service engineer for checking,
repair or adjustment.

The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage that results from overuse, incorrect
operation, incorrect maintenance, neglecting the information given in the instruction ma-
nual or normal wear and tear. In addition, the manufacturer is not responsible for damage
caused by any parts of the appliance breaking or cracking.
The power cord and plug of the appliance must not be altered or extended
in any way. If the power cord is too short, use a standard, commercially
available extension cable of minimum10 Amp load capacity. A lower load
capacity cable could heat during use. Take care not to create a trip hazard when
positioning the extension cable.
You must not disassemble the appliance, remove its cover or to try to repair it. Ignoring this
advice could cause a serious accident. There are no parts in the appliance that can be repaired at
home or used for any other purpose. Never operate the appliance with a damaged mains cable
or connector. Do not use the appliance if it fails to work normally or if it has been dropped or
damaged. If the appliance becomes faulty for any reason or if any moisture is allowed inside,
take it to an authorised service engineer for checking and repair. Only service engineers who
have been trained and approved should repair the appliance. The manufacturer cannot take any
responsibility for unauthorised repairs or for any circumstances resulting from not following the
instructions.

Attention! This household appliance was designed for intermittent use. After a maxi-
mum of 4 minutes of operation pause for at least 20 minutes, otherwise the appliance
could be damaged. The manufacturer will not be held liable for any failure of the
appliance caused by or originating from exceeding the time established for continuous
operation or non compliance with the intervals prescribed for pausing.
Please keep this instruction manual. If you give the appliance to anyone else, you must
give them this instruction manual, too!
