2.- MAINTENANCE AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
• Never use this transceiver in places where the use of radio equipment is prohibited.
• Don´t place the transceiver and the battery charger to direct sunlight for prolonged periods or near
off a heat devices (heater, radiators, etc.).
• Don´t expose the battery charger or the transceiver to the excessive dust, humidity, explosive or
other hazardous conditions.
• Don´t place this transceiver or their battery charger on an unstable or vibrating surface.
• If the transceiver emits smoke or burning smell, turn it off, remove the battery pack and contact
with the Technical Service.
• Always consult Technical Service for any repairs.
• Use this equipment only for the purpose it was manufactured. The manufacturer and distributor do
not accept any responsibility and the guarantee will not apply in case of the improper operation or
not follow the instructions.
• Install the battery correctly, the antenna and the (optional) accessories according to the
instructions given in this manual.
• Use only the battery charger supplied with the transceiver.
• Don´t use this transceiver without an adequate antenna.
• If you use an external headset (optional), reduce the maximum possible level audio volume, avoid
very high audio levels.
• If the transceiver does cause interference to audio and video devices, radio and television
receivers, or any other type of device, keep it away from the devices.
• Don´t use or operate this transceiver while driving a vehicle, use hands free devices and follow the
traffic regulations.
• Don´t replace and charge the battery pack in areas at risk of fire or explosion

wet) cloth.
• To clean the battery charger being remove to the 230 VAC wall outlet and with an antistatic cloth
preferably.

charger and never use for their cleaning polish home products, detergents, alcohol or solvent.
• Don’t use for the cleaning a dry cloth, it could cause static sock.
• The not compatible accessories used with the transceiver they could limit their operation, and even
to damages invalidating the guarantee.
• Explosion risk if it replaces the battery pack for an incompatible one.
• As general safety cautions, the children should not operate any type of electric devices.
• The packing materials (plastic bags, etc.), they should not be left within reach of the children,
since they are a potential danger source.

3.- UNPACKING AND CHECKING THE EQUIPMENT:
Open the package contents carefully. We recommend confirming that all the articles listed in the
following table are present. If you find that the product or any of its accessories are missing or
damaged, please contact your distributor or salesperson.
