2.- INTRODUCTION:

Read the Instruction Manual completely to know all the functions that the product offers.
It is important to note that some of the functions can be explained in relation to the
information in the previous chapters. By reading only part of it, you cannot understand the
full explanation of the function.

It is important that you correctly understand the instructions of the Manual.
●
Keep the Manual for future reference.
3.- MAINTENANCE AND SAFETY CAUTIONS:
●
Turn OFF and do not use the radio, or charge or replace the battery pack in explosive
areas.
●
Do not attempt to open, modify or adjust the radio.
●
Do not use the radio if the antenna is damaged.
●
Do not use the transceiver in areas where its use is prohibited.
●
Do not put the transceiver within of the car airbag deployment.
●
Do not expose the radio, battery pack or desktop charger to direct sunlight, dust, high
temperatures and high humidity areas.
●
Keep a minimum distance of 5 cm between the radio and your mouth during
transmission.
●
If smoke or other smell appears on the radio or desktop battery charger, shut OFF
immediately and contact the Technical Service for verification.
●
Do not hold the radio directly by the antenna.
●
After long time use, the keys, controls and the case shell can easily get dirty. Use a
humidity cloth with a neutral product for cleaning; do not use alcohol or solvents cleaning
products.
●
Follow local regulations to the use of this equipment type.
●
The use of this equipment is the sole responsibility of the user´s.
4.- UNPACKING AND CHECKING ARTICLES:
Before use:
1. Check that the packaging is not damaged.
2. Unpack carefully and check that all articles are included. If any article is missing or
damaged, contact immediately whit your salesperson.
Note:
- The articles supplied may differ because on the version of radio acquired. For
more information, consult with your salesperson.
- Check with your salesperson to the optional accessories for the radio.
5.- BATTERY PACK INFORMATION:
Charge the battery pack before use. Perform two full charge-discharge cycles so that the
battery reaches the maximum performance. When the battery is low, charge it or replace
by other a fully charged one.
Always use battery pack recommended by the manufacturer, other battery packs can
cause explosion and damage to user.
