Work Troubleshooting

Parts

4. The Belt

Rev

Steps

If the

belt drops

off, rem

ove the right chain

cover

and

release

theIdler

heel

assem

bly

and return the belt. Turn

the

belt slowly

and

watch

for the

swing

and

the

alignm

ent of the

belt and the Drive Pulley to decide if the

problem

caused

the

swingof the

drive

pulley

or m

isalignm

ent am

ong

the

belt,

drive

pulleyand

the

flywheel, then, turn

the

belt with

thespeed

between

100

and

120

RPM and stop abruptly to see if there is

anything

abnorm

al. Resume

the

parts

if there

nothing

wrong.

If the belt,drive pulley and the flywheel do

not

align

straight

line, adjust the flywheel

proper position., as

shown

figure

If the belt slips, adjust the nut on J-bolt with

13m

wrench, as

shown

figure

Replace the belt if it is dam

aged.
